What is actually is: A beach hotel that could be in Mexico, Hawaii, or Costa Rica…as a Westin, Hyatt Regency, or other 4 star branded hotel.
What it is not: A unique, quiet, tropical, secluded hideaway.

Hotel Design: 83 – Two mid rise towers with an open air lobby remind us of many American urban beach hotels. Due to its location on a point, most room have good views.
Location: 95 – With two small beaches in front, and a short walk to beautiful Carlisle Bay, the location is great for beaches and convenient to South Coast dining options. During our recent stay, the small lagoon beaches in front of the hotel were affected by Sargassum seaweed, but it was less than a 10 minute walk to Pebble’s Beach and Browne’s Beach without any seaweed.
Sleep: 94 – Quiet and comfortable. Nice ocean breezes and good AC when needed.
Service: 83 – Average. Housekeeping was very good.
Room Design: 91 – Bright, Functional and in good condition.
Room Amenities: 91 – Great view, private balcony, and a comfortable bed. Well equipped with a mini fridge and nice shower + separate bathtub. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided.
Hotel Amenities: 79 – 2 (busy) pools, a spacious and well-equipped gym and free convenient parking. Uninspiring dining venues. One pool is supposed to be for those 16 years and older, but this rule is not followed.
Vibe: 78 – Americans families in Barbados, lucky flight crews on layover, and corporate functions/special events by the beach.
Cleanliness/Maintenance: 83 – Good housekeeping, and the room was in good condition. Some hotel common areas could use some work.
Value / Extras & Perks: 84 – We received an upgrade to the top floor and complimentary breakfast due to Hilton status. The breakfast quality was below average for a resort of this caliber.
