Review: Grand Hyatt Seoul Incheon (West Tower) – A luxury hotel, walkable to the airport!

At a glance:

The Grand Hyatt Seoul Incheon is a large hotel with 1,024 rooms separated in two towers close to the ICN – Seoul Incheon Airport. The West Tower has newly been renovated and will eventually become the Hyatt Regency Incheon Paradise City in March 2026 to integrate with the Paradise City Casino Resort. The East Tower will remain branded as the Grand Hyatt Seoul Incheon. This hotel is reviewed at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Incheon.

What is actually is: A classy and spacious airport hotel.

What it is not: A cookie-cutter airport hotel experience.

Time of year: Fall 2025

Room Type: Residence One Bedroom West Tower

Scores:

Hotel Design: 89 – Modern spaces with plenty of natural light.

Location: 90 – A short shuttle ride (or about a 10-15 minute walk) from ICN terminal 1.

Sleep: 87 – Comfortable, bathroom night lighting could be better as the nigh light was very bright.

Service: 88 – Efficient and friendly.

Room Design: 90 – Extremely spacious and bright, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Room Amenities: 92 – Kitchen and separate living area, 2 bathrooms, large fridge and great views of the airport. One bathroom had a nice bathtub with a television.

Hotel Amenities: 93 – Very good for an airport property: a fitness centre, indoor pool, a spa, restaurants/bars, and amenities for kids (playground). They also offer free self-parking parking and have meeting/event spaces. The hotel has a Club Lounge, but the lounge was closed. On weekends, the regular restaurant is used as a club lounge. Breakfast in the main restaurant was decent, with a good selection of western and Asian offerings.

Vibe: 87 – Upscale airport hotel, travelers and staycationers.

Cleanliness/Maintenance: 92 – Very clean and in good condition.

Value / Extras & Perks: 90 – Our Hyatt Globalist status gave us a large upgrade and access to the lounge for breakfast.

OVERALL: 89.8

Would we stay again? Highly likely, yes! We are a little confused by the whole re-branding project though.
