Sunday morning very early, we arrive via West Jet from Kelowna, then off to Huatulco Mexico.
1. Do we need to pick up our luggage?

Hello Mandy, Sorry for the delayed response. Since you are traveling on the same day, no you do not pick up your checked baggage as it will be transferred when it arrives to YVR. WestJet international check-in is located at counter 250, if my memory serves me correct.

We’re travelling from Comox (YQQ) to YVR and taking a flight to LAX at 8:00 am. The earliest flight from YQQ lands YVR at 7:11 am will we have enough time to make the connection?

Hello! Just our opinion, while it is possible in theory, you do have to go through screening (again), and also clear US Customs. Any minor delay could be problematic. We tend to play it safe with connections and this one does seem very tight and risky. Good luck!

Any idea what gates Air canada uses in Vancouver . Flying from Kamloops thru vancouver connecting to Winnipeg .
Is 1hr 23min enough time for seniors to walk between gated for connecting flight
Never flew thru Vancouver airport before.
