Not sure if it has made it to the blogosphere and the usual suspects yet but we just stumbled upon some great deals for business class fare between Canada and some African and Middle East destinations.
It appears that Air France has a seat sale for business class but some other airlines are already starting to match it.
For example, you can fly from YVR – Vancouver to MRU – Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (in Mauritius) for $2,600CAD return flying with KLM to Amsterdam, Air France to Paris and then Air Mauritius from Paris to Mauritius.
Other destinations with deals are from YVR – Vancouver to South Africa, both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
YVR – Vancouver to DXB – Dubai with KLM is $2,584CAD.
For our friends who are on the east coast (including Americans – these prices are 30% cheaper for you), the fares are valid for YYZ – Toronto but we have not checked YUL – Montreal yet. Please report back if you do and they are valid!
For example, YYZ – Toronto to MRU – Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (in Mauritius) is even cheaper than departing from YVR – Vancouver: it’s $2,246CAD!
A few things to note:
- Flexibility: These are completely non-refundable fares but they can be changed and are subject to fare difference. Make sure to read the fine print.
- Dates: It looks like the calendar is wide open for now but we did not look beyond November. Make sure to check the weather for some of these destinations as it could be their rainy season.
- Travel Restrictions: Travel restrictions are easing across the world but things are still inconsistent and unpredictable. The inevitable threat of a new variant and the response is a risk and while these fares are a good deal, you could still lose thousands of dollars depending on your circumstances.
