Hotel Review: The Lind Boracay – A nice resort on Boracay’s White Beach!

The Lind Boracay is a 119 room upscale resort with direct access to White Beach and offers a wide range of on-site amenities for guests to enjoy the resort and to easily explore beyond.

What it actually is: A non-branded boutique resort that could be a Westin or a Hilton on a beach destination somewhere in the world.

What it is not: A resort where you may want to just stay and not leave for your entire stay.

Hotel Design: 85 While the property feels a bit compact for its room count, the layout maximizes the space perfectly. Four-story towers wrap around a central courtyard featuring the family pools. The real highlight is the stunning infinity pool on the upper level, which offers incredible beach views (and occasionally doubles as a private wedding venue). The resort’s design features a chic, light-colored beach theme that effortlessly matches the island’s famous white sand and turquoise waters.

Location: 90 Located at the northern end of Station 1, it is on what is said to be the nicest stretch of beach. It offers the perfect compromise: it is tucked away from the chaotic noise of Station 2, yet close enough that a beach stroll or a quick shuttle ride gets you right into the main dining and nightlife hubs.

Sleep: 85 The bed was very comfortable and the linens were good quality. The rooms are generally well soundproofed but you can still hear people partying on the beach or at one of the almost attached smaller hotels beside.

Service: 87 Service was good but a little slow at times, which could be due to the high occupancy during Christmas Peak. The behind the scenes service, like the small touches in the room (e.g. welcome snacks and drinks, turn-down, and departure gift) were well executed. The staff at breakfast were helpful and attentive even if it wa busy, offering to carry your plate to your table.

Room Design: 90 Our room was well-designed to offer comfort and privacy. The room felt very bright and as though thought went into the design to accentuate the turquoise waters. The balcony was spacious, private, and had comfortable seating and the bathroom, while compact, had a nice rain shower and bathtub.

Room Amenities: 93 Our room was well equipped with higher end items than what we expected: a Nespresso-style coffee machine, a fully stocked minibar, a large smart TV, plush robes, branded beach gear (flip-flops and a tote bag), Maelin and Goetz toiletries, lots of charging ports, and filtered water replenished twice daily.

Hotel Amenities: 88 There are two pools: the stunning rooftop infinity pool (often booked and inaccessible due to private events) and the ground-level garden pool. There is a small fitness center with the basics and a spa. As for dining options, they have an all-day dining restaurant with Western and Filipino offerings, a pizza restaurant, and a newer Thai restaurant. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle to more central Boracay at scheduled times and an airport boat transfer just for hotel guests.

Vibe: 85 A family-friendly beach resort that often has larger groups

Cleanliness/Maintenance: 82 Overall, housekeeping was excellent, though our room was showing a bit of wear and tear from the ocean air and past storms—specifically some bubbling on the wallpaper and flooring near the balcony door. On the other hand, the common areas were immaculately maintained. This includes the beachfront, which was raked daily with an elaborate sand design that creatively displayed the current date.

Value / Extras & Perks: 89 While it sits at a premium luxury price point and we did pay premium to stay here during the Christmas season, we did feel the value paid to what was offered was reasonable especially when comparing to other spots like Hawaii and Costa Rica which come at a much higher price tag. Our room rate included the daily breakfast buffet that offered decent Western and Filipino options and the airport transfer was a nice touch. The hotel was also generous with their little treats in the room on arrival and during our stay.
