Scores

Hotel Design: 82 – Seaworthy is located on the top floor of Percy Seafood restaurant. This top floor is reserved exclusively for guests and features a lovely lounge area with views of Willy’s Rock and the beach. The overall design is modern with a distinct beach theme. Note that you do need to walk through the restaurant every time you want to get to your room.

Location: 85 – Located right in the middle of Station 1, it can get very busy at times, but it also offers convenient walking access to quieter spots like White Beach and Station 3. From our balcony, we were able to watch and experience the lively beach atmosphere without feeling like we were trapped right in the middle of it.

Sleep Quality: 85 – Despite the busy surroundings, the room had decent soundproofing and solid blinds to block out the morning light. The bed and linens were comfortable, and the A/C did a great job of keeping the room cool, which is essential since it gets a lot of direct sun during the day.

Service: 95 – For such a small property where some of the staff split time between the hotel and the restaurant, Seaworthy offers excellent, personalized service. As a hotel guest, you are truly treated like family. We arrived slightly early, and while our room wasn’t quite ready, we were immediately offered chips, salsa, and water while we waited.

Room Design: 92 – Our room was basic but very comfortable and had everything we needed. The style nailed that beach house theme with accents of deep blue, pastels, wood, and beautiful Portuguese tiles in the bathroom. The bathroom features two sinks, one of which offers a view of the beach so perfect it looked like a painted screensaver.

Room Amenities: 88 -The room included a balcony with chairs, a table, and a drying rack, a king-sized bed, space to hang our clothes, a safe, a mini-fridge, and a split bathroom setup. The only minor critique is that we would have liked a shower curtain for the toilet area to ensure a bit of extra privacy.

Hotel Amenities: 88 – This is a small hotel with limited footprint amenities, but what they do offer is fantastic for enjoying Boracay. Guests receive complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, a Coco Mama treat on arrival, and discounts at all affiliated Sunnyside Group restaurants (Coco Mama, Ube Mama, Mango Mama, Percy Seafood, Hello Sailor Bar, The Sunnyside Cafe, and Spicebird). They provide daily beach towels and a foot tap by the restaurant, though there is no outdoor shower. The staff are also helpful with arranging transfers and activities.

Vibe: 88 – A cozy beachside bed and breakfast vibe, uniquely situated right above a popular, bustling restaurant.

Cleanliness & Maintenance: 95 – Cleanliness and maintenance were top-notch for a boutique property. Our daily housekeeping service was excellent. The staff even went above and beyond trying to fix our door at check-in, thoroughly cleaning the floors immediately after the contractor left.

Value, Extras & Perks: 92 -The room rates are incredibly reasonable for what you receive, especially when you factor in the arrival perks and the generous restaurant discounts across the Sunnyside Group network.

OVERALL SCORE: 89/100

Would we stay again? YES
